Every student will be issued a Chromebook, charger, and case.  It is your responsibility to make sure you bring your Chromebook to school each day fully charged.  For other rules and responsibilities, please refer to our district technology use agreement and handbook via Clever or your Google Drive.  

 Chromebook Care
  • Do not take it out of its snap-on cover/case.
  • Students should not sit on the floor with their Chromebook. 
  • ​Students should not work on their Chromebooks in their laps.
  • The Chromebook should always be used on a flat surface such as a desk or tabletop.
  • ​Students should not carry OPEN Chromebooks.
  • Students should not lift or carry Chromebooks by clutching the top part (screen) of the Chromebook.
  • ​Students should not lay their Chromebooks flat in an open 180 degree position.
  • Students should not trace images or write anything on their Chromebook screens.
  • ​Students should not ever touch the cameras on their Chromebooks.
  • Students should not place stickers, sensory tape, or any other items inside of their Chromebooks.  They may decorate their Chromebook covers with stickers or include one piece of paper in-between the top and top cover of the Chromebook.
  • ​If you charge it each night, the battery will last all school day.
  • Keep it clean and away from food and drink.
  • Do not let others use your Chromebook!
  • Notify Mrs. Moore immediately if your Chromebook is in need of repair.
  • Only use your school Google account on your Chromebook (DO NOT sign-in with a personal Google account.  This includes YouTube!)

​Lock your Chromebook’s screen.

Log out of your Chromebook. Press the key combination twice to quit.

Get your Chromebook's serial number & Chrome OS version.

Dock a window to the left side of your screen.


Dock a window to the right side of your screen.        

Take a screenshot and save it to your Downloads folder The Switcher key is located in place of the F5 key on a standard keyboard.

Take a screenshot of part of the screen. Use the cursor to select the part of the screen you want to save.

Toggle Caps Lock. The Search key has a magnifying glass on it and is in place of the Caps Lock key on typical keyboards.

Increase screen scale, making items appear larger on your screen.

Decrease screen scale, making items appear smaller on your screen.

​Reset screen scale to the default setting.
